Accessibility Statement

We build toward Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA — on client work and on our own site.

Last updated August 2, 2026

1. Our approach

  • Semantic HTML with a single H1 per page, landmark regions, and a logical heading order.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, and disclosure components with visible focus indicators.
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful imagery and empty alt on decorative imagery.
  • Labels tied to every form field, with instructions and consent text in real page copy.
  • Color contrast targeted to WCAG 2.2 AA, with color never the sole carrier of meaning.
  • Reduced-motion support: animations respect the operating system 'reduce motion' setting.

2. Conformance status

We target substantial conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the Revised Section 508 standards. This statement describes our practices and testing; it is not a third-party audit, a VPAT, or a certification. A formal VPAT/ACR can be prepared for client deliverables on request.

3. Known limitations

Some decorative motion, marquee sections, and gradient-heavy backgrounds are cosmetic; if any element creates a barrier for you, tell us and we will provide the content in an accessible alternative.

4. Feedback

Report an accessibility barrier to info@govoradigital.com with the subject "Accessibility". Include the page URL and your assistive technology if you can. We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days and to remediate confirmed issues promptly.
